We had some good conversations on /gmfarcaster this morning, related to both the new Farcaster earnings and the bracky airdrop. Some thoughts: - "How much money have you made on Farcaster" is incredible marketing - Very cool to have access to the data, be able to analyze it, see it, etc - But I don't like it as part of the UX of using a social app - It forces people to compare themselves to others against someone else's arbitrary metric of worth (see: status as a service) - It's reductive. We joke about the friends we meet along the way, but in our show this morning we talked about how the success of the bracky airdrop was built on value tldr captured building on farcaster for the past few years - "my gripe is reducing everything to pecuniary value which in the long run is only gonna destroy society" was a comment we got in the live chat and I totally agree "Reducing everything to pecuniary value will kill Farcaster" would be a good panel for FarCon

Precisely, although much more eloquently put, why I am not showing my earnings.
