** The Farcaster Settlement ** (my /firstdraft ) I was talking to someone struggling to find their way on FC & wanted to give them an illustration of life here. And I wanted it to not only explain it but give them something to feel. I like the Singapore illustration--low population, high GDP--but it's hard to feel. So, I said FC is like a group settling a new frontier. To me, this captures the positive-sum nature of FC. How does a group of people settle a new world? People find their roles in serving the greater good, serving the existence of the village. It seems the people who have best found their way on FC, have found their role in supporting the village. A new settlement needs governing. Here, that's the FC team especially @dwr.eth & @v . It needs economic support & development. That's the biggest list here, but especially @jacek @betashop.eth @deployer . The village needs 'spiritual' or moral help like @july . But it needs all kinds of people... 1/2 cont'd ⬇️

I like the settlement on the frontier idea. It's about exploring new lands, together. Learning from eachother, wayfinding. It's very much early Twitter to me. There's a cameraderie that is unique to these type of spaces. Great writing, Brad. And thanks for the mention.
