** Farcaster Treasures ** (my /firstdraft ) I called Bert @mmups a 'Farcaster Treasure' this week. The next day @ted called @samuellhuber.eth the same. Yesterday I almost used it twice--about @pichii in her /live-the-same interview & about @arjantupan & his value to FC. So, this got me thinking about 'Farcaster Treasures.' I spent 2+ years daily on Twitter & had accounts I loved, but there were no 'Twitter Treasures.' I think it's because we function as a community here. We learn about people, share our lives, & look out for the community. Our interaction is relational, not transactional--even though there are transactions. There are people here who make Farcaster truly a better '4th place' (s/o @loriann this week). I don't think that's true in other places--at least not for me. I won't make a list of 'Farcaster Treasures' here. These /firstdraft are a place to start an idea that's knocking around from the week. There are more than a few & I'd welcome hearing about your Farcaster Treasures.

You are certainly one of Farcasters Treasures yourself, Brad. But you are right, We are many. We are a community of treasures. Each in our own way. A good way to think about it. It really reminds me of early Twitter. There was a bit of a similar feeling there. More community, less shouting match. I loved the tweetchats. They always gave a good sense of community.

Thanks, Arjan. 👊 Yes, a mentioned a few but that's just the context of what led me to be thinking about it this week. There are many. Early Twitter (I wasn't there) reminds that there is something about being a smaller group on the frontier eeking out a new life. I'll put that in the second draft. 👊
