So sounds like we all think (and I agree) that Max doesn't want to leave RB. That would seem to indicate Horner (and Newey?) has to go? What a weird spot to be in. Politics always ruin things and we just don't have enough information on the whole controversy unfortunately.

I thin the only reason why Jos would be acting up, is that the team unity is not what it seems, or what Horner says it is. If this team is breaking apart, so are chances for Max at getting a record number of championships if he stays with Red Bull. Jos seems to be blaming Horner, but he has denied wanting him out.

at this point it honestly seems like Jos is kicking up a fuzz all by himself. imagine being RB, battling Mercedes for years to finally stop their winning streak, only to be destroyed internally by someone who isn't even officially part of the team! RB needs to revoke Jos his paddock pass

Might seem that way, but I think that it is a predictable scenario playing out. Mateschitz was the man behind the big capital injection for the F1 team(s). When he died, there must have been a power vacuum. I think Jos now sees that it is going to affect Max, and he is not having that.
