I really like these, but can you tell me a bit more about this project? They are abstract cutouts? Very curious to learn more about it.

Rodeo

As per the channel these are casted to, this is part of a Daily art project that began somewhat spontaneously on June 13th 2014. It has evolved much since then. Every year starting January 1st do a different 'format'.

This year picks up on last years project of a simple drawing every day as well as the 'Daily Cut' from 2021 where would cut a shape out of a sketch book and record a short video of it.

in 2021 kept all the cut shapes in a box and did not do anything with them. Was easy to manage as they were only one shape.

This year there are multiple shapes so am putting them aside and making art pieces from them using spray paints. Some of these pieces are photographed at various stages and shared on /rodeo-club. Have also been gifting the resulting sculptures they become to friends and colleagues.

Oh, wow. Very cool. A daily art piece since 2014? That is amazing. I thought I did something cool by writing a poem every day in 2012. But I only did that for a year. This is very cool.

I like the idea of the cutouts being used with spraypaint. Intriguing. Will pay more attention to it.
