Have you watched Adolesence? Had a fun conversation about this with some teenagers last night. Kids from a friend. About emoji and what they see on TikTok/Insta. One remark that stuck with me was about some influencers, that were unashamed to just lie to you. What skills do we need our children to learn to navigate this?

In general, I agree with that. Also more books, less tech. But... How will that give them the skills to recognise false information, to learn how to deal with deep fakes, and how to not get too frustrated with bullying by peers?

They learn common sense through these means In Nigeria here, bullying is not really a problem because no one is going to let anybody try that easily, i guess hard training is the result of that though
