Interesting read. I have slept on Nouns early on, and now, although I have gotten to know many nounish people, it is still unclear to me what nouns really is. Or better: what it means to be nounish. And I fully agree with you, that that is the key question were Nouns to become a household name. Disney = family entertainment. The Nike Swoosh = athletic performance/just do it mentality. Nouns and Noggles = ....

Thanks for the interest and feedback, Arjan! I think a lot of your question goes to the insider/outsider dynamic of communication. Nouns can function really insider-ish with language, culture, explanations and either lose the outsider or make it harder for them to hang around and become and insider.
