Have noticed a distinct reduction in Power Badge Anxiety since $DEGEN Season 6 started. arfy's thoughts: - It's good, in that people aren't as stressed about it. - Now that it's no longer tied to Degen allowances, some true colours are showing. What I mean is that many people only sought the PB because they wanted the allowance. - Remember though, that having the PB opens up engagement and visibility of your account, so it's still a highly valuable thing, depending on what your aspirations are on farcaster. IMHO I'd rather have the badge than a high allowance. That's just me though. What are your thoughts, frenpai?

Never had a very high allowance in the first place, definitely prefer PB! One day… I want that increased engagement 😏 for now, I’ll just keep riding the coattails of my PB friends like Arfy S6 dynamics actually allowed me to significantly increase my degen allowance since it was so small before. Staking 20k gave me about 20x my S5 allo 💸💸💸

I'm glad it's helped you get a larger allowance, and I've heard many such stories from legit casters like yourself. It's quite controversial either way, and without getting deep into it, personally I prefer a more equalized mix of both methods (staking + quality engagement). In any case, I'm glad you're here for the ride and you are welcome to my coattails anytime, frenpai! (It ain't much tho, lel)

Haha it’s plenty I’m also in favor of a more balanced algo to determine degen allowance. Despite this one helping me in terms of S5 -> S6 allo increase, more weight on social rank/contributions seems a more equitable and sustainable
