My confession is that I’m old but here is my question:

Am I in the minority in wanting a dedicated mobile app for a wallet over a webapp wallet?

No, I'm like that too. Somehow I feel it's more secure.

I gotta agree with you on the UX side, although some webapps are getting pretty good! 

Generally, the security of trusted apps on a trusted store by a verified publisher thing, just nails it for me. Especially for crypto. DNS and other exploits are running rampant.

lol I’m in there. The Alzheimer’s just makes me forget to post there. 

I do have that same idea the mobile app is more secure than the webapp but my theory breaks down when I think about how I use wallets on desktop. 😂. 

Mobile app just has better UX than webapp. That’s really the main factor for me. 

I’d be curious if that’s a generational thing (I’m an elder millennial)
