It's a bird feeder. They moved in without asking lol

Pretty cat resistant. Stuck onto the middle of a flat surface with no easy ledges. Aerial access only. Other birds are a much bigger risk but I haven't seen any attackers.

I think you're right, if you put that in a safe place the cats can't access it. Unfortunately for me, I love birds, but our cat literally goes everywhere (including the windowsills outside).
