planted some seeds today. 

water-blasted the chilli plants that have greenhouse whitefly 

never had greenhouse whitefly before so am considering simply removing the chilli and pepper plants as they haven't been that productive

it's time for the autumn seedlings to rule the roost

Man oh man, whitefly is so annoying! They're all over our pumpkins and kale right now.

Oh wow! Are you growing perennial spinach?

We have so much perennial spinach on our allotment plot, and it keeps self-seeding, it's almost become invasive! Who am I kidding, it's absolutely fucking invasive 😹 

But at least we crop it and eat the young leaves, and dig out probably 90% of the self-seeded plants every season. They go well throughout the winter too.

Awesome! Glad to hear it. Sometimes they can be so persistent. I heard they may come if it's too dry, so I think a water blasting regularly might help deter them from coming back. Pesky pests!
