Who got scammed into buying shit on Black Friday sales? arfy bought himself an Asus ROG Ally (Z1 Extreme model). Arrived today. The kicker for me over Steam Deck and Legion Go and others, is that it docks and doubles as a functional Windows desktop. As a Windows device, hopefully my hardware wallet will work without fuss, not to mention game compatibility and the ability to use any games from GOG, Epic, etc (not just Steam). First thing I did even before booting it up: opening up the case, ripping out the SSD drive and installing a new larger, faster 2TB M.2 2280 SSD. It's re-imaging the OS on it now. Who needs to play games, anyways? 😹
