I absolutely agree! I actually do tag people, but during the course of normal conversation and discourse. Not like this shitstorm of back and forth botted tagging (it's very easy to pick up legit vs illegit usage, I believe they will be punished by the algo).

I agree, ofc it would depend on the controls they put in place to flag up artificial tagging behaviours, we'll have to see how this pans out at the end of the month!

tagging would've been a fine metric if no one knew it was a metric. but once word got out, it was pointless seconds later.
