I struggled with my dahlias, and I thought they would never get any buds, BUT HERE WE ARE!! 4 out of 6 have buds, and I am so excited. Hopefully, they'll bloom gorgeous in a few weeks? I hope sooner, buy they'll probably need a bit of time. 😂

Yaaaay! They made it! 🤝 From my experience they're probably 2-3 weeks out I reckon from the size of the buds in the photo.

The care dahlias need.. I underestimated it severely, LOL. 😂 They better give me the best flowers 🥹

I'd say that if they survive a year with you, they're going to get better and better over time, and as their bulbs divide you'll get more and more! But they can be tricky in certain regions, here as well... they don't like to be too damp, and they like to be very close to the surface for the bulbs to bake!

Yes! But also.. they like sun, but when the sun is out, the leaves are starting to hang almost immediately. Like what do you wantttt? 😂😂

lmao, indecisive bastards... I think it might just be due to them being new, perhaps their root systems aren't so well established to reach down into the soil and grab that extra moisture! I tend to overwater things in their first year for this reason. It is a bit of a balance though: they want well drained soil, and sun to bake them, but they don't like damp!
