ngl, I enjoy watching Sesame Street wif my daughter these days. It's crazy how something I grew up watching in the 80s is still going and my daughter can also watch it.

Anyone else enjoy the same?

I'm glad Cookie Monster still destroys cookies and isn't sympathetic to Cookies or identifies as a cookie himself. That being said, they need to nerf Elmo who takes up too much show time and bring back the old muppets.

Hahaha! You know what, Elmo is kinda growing on me. I used to feel the same way, but he's a good chap, and my daughter really likes him. I find Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch to be the funniest characters tho, personally.

I miss the ol' days when Bert and Ernie were a lot more prevalent, too!

So I did some digging at some point and apparently, the rights to the Muppets are actually not with Sesame Street now. That's why they don't have the Muppets on there anymore.

It does seem like Elmo has a ton of airtime in these modern episodes tho, for sure. I think Elmo's World is like a mini-series they put into every single episode!

Once they gave that red furball his own show "Elmo's world" you know they created an economic divide between normal Muppets and the Elite Muppets lmao

Elmo is alright, I don't completely dislike the guy, but he is a bit of an airtime hog.  Oscar the Grouch and Cookie monster are top notch tho.
Bert & Ernie are good value too.
