There is only one tried and true way to limit suffering humanity has found. /stoicism There’s many ways to describe it, but it really comes down to accepting reality for what it is. If you can change your mindset to not fight with reality you’ll remove the vast majority or suffering cc @maurelian.eth

But don’t you think accepting reality sometimes is a bit tricky For example when we lose a loved one, you can accept that the person isn’t here anymore but the mental weight and suffering still comes with accepting that reality

I’m not saying it’s easy. Otherwise we’d all be born stoics. I promise I’ve struggled with this a lot in my life. Ask @robmsolomon. My point is all paths end at accepting reality or you’re having a psych episode. May as well sharpen up the ability to take the path of least resistance

I think I understand you now tbh Cause personally I’d rather come to terms with what has happened than get a mental break over how I could have stopped it or even if I could have stopped it Would you advice therapy for people that finds it difficult to move past the thoughts in their head and can’t seem to accept reality Most people feel therapy just makes them relive the moments over and over again Making them stuck in their thoughts
