Director of Official Gredo Nnamdi Okereke has concluded a guilty plea agreement with the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to the agreement, Judge Inyang Ekwo decided to confiscate 140 million Nigerian naira (about $85,205) from the Official Gredo account and transfer funds to the EFCC account. The judge also ordered the company to pay a fine of 1 million Nigerian naira ($608) to the federal government of Nigeria. The defendant must pay the specified amounts within fourteen days, otherwise Okereke may be detained.
