Director of Official Gredo Nnamdi Okereke has concluded a guilty plea agreement with the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to the agreement, Judge Inyang Ekwo decided to confiscate 140 million Nigerian naira (about $85,205) from the Official Gredo account and transfer funds to the EFCC account. The judge also ordered the company to pay a fine of 1 million Nigerian naira ($608) to the federal government of Nigeria. The defendant must pay the specified amounts within fourteen days, otherwise Okereke may be detained.

The Indonesian authorities seized $200,000 from crypto fraudsters with the help of Binance. In November 2023, the Indonesian Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) opened a fraud case using a fake cryptocurrency trading site. Later, law enforcement agencies managed to find out that the site was part of the pig cutting scam scheme. During the investigation, several people were arrested who participated in the management of bank accounts and cryptocurrency wallets, which received funds stolen from the victims.

One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges Bybit reported that Muslim investors can use its new service, namely an Islamic cryptocurrency account. According to the information published on the exchange's website, 75 cryptocurrencies and two trading bots - DCA Trading Bot and Spot Grid Bot - will be available for customers. Fraudsters are increasingly using cryptocurrency exchanges to carry out operations.
