Was so sleepy after last night's 3am launch that I took a nap right after taking my 2yo to daycare.

Woke up an hour later and suddenly panicked.

"Where's {2yo}?!"
"His sandals aren't here, the door is unlocked!"

**throws shoes and socks on and flies out the door**

**jump down flights of stairs** 

longest 60 seconds of my life later...

"oh, he's at daycare. thank god"

I remember those days. I did that with my kid and also with a car that I forgot I took to the dealer for an oil change. I was one number from dialing the police thinking it was stolen before I remembered what was going on. 😆
