I realized so many people don’t know about motion sickness, so I decided to make some research on it.
Motion sickness happens because of a conflict between what your inner ear (which helps with balance), eyes, and body perceive.
For instance;
- If you’re reading a book or pressing your phone in a moving car, your eyes see a still page, but your inner ear senses movement.
- If you’re on a ship, your body might feel stable, but your inner ear detects the motion of the waves.
This mismatch confuses the brain, triggering symptoms like nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, and headaches.
Personally, I feel like I’m gonna burst open😫.

Before your journey:
- Stay very hydrated, drink lots of cold water, but avoid alcohol, caffeine, and carbonated drinks.
