I realized so many people don’t know about motion sickness, so I decided to make some research on it. Motion sickness happens because of a conflict between what your inner ear (which helps with balance), eyes, and body perceive. For instance; - If you’re reading a book or pressing your phone in a moving car, your eyes see a still page, but your inner ear senses movement. - If you’re on a ship, your body might feel stable, but your inner ear detects the motion of the waves. This mismatch confuses the brain, triggering symptoms like nausea, dizziness, shortness of breath, and headaches. Personally, I feel like I’m gonna burst open😫. Here are some preventive measures👇🏽 Before your journey: - Stay very hydrated, drink lots of cold water, but avoid alcohol, caffeine, and carbonated drinks. - Sit where motion is.… Contd. in the comment👇🏽 Buy on @zora here: https://zora.co/coin/base:0x68fe8d07b919b9fdda5390053e3764cee54f2ce9?referrer=0x078bed2f68400757fc24f66c081c053db0471f37

… least felt (front seat of a car, middle of a boat, or over the wings of a plane [the wings are the plane’s center of gravity and stability, it’s located in the middle of the plane, between the front & rear sections]). - Eat light, non-greasy foods before traveling. Avoid spicy, fatty, or strong-smelling foods. - Anti-emetics like dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) or meclizine can help, take them 30–60 minutes before travel. - Get Enough Rest - Fatigue can make motion sickness worse. During your journey: - Focus on a stable object in the distance rather than reading a book or looking at screens. - Chew minty gum - Reduce use of AC on very long journeys or once you start feeling it, wind down to get fresh air at intervals. - Keep your head steady and aligned with your body; reclining slightly can help. - Try Ginger or Peppermint - These natural remedies may help reduce nausea. - Practice Deep Breathing - Slow, controlled breathing can reduce symptoms. - Wear….👇🏽

The sense of balance is near the auditory organ in the ear, any disjoint between the balance mechanism and the other sensory systems results in motion sickness and it occurs regularly in people. Health Education is 💪 Thanks @iamcharis

This really explains it well. 🙌 I never really understood motion sickness because I don't experience it.
