this holds true for almost any function in a startup dont you think? as a founder you should first solve the problem & do the 0 to 1, then expand team to scale it. that's the mantra i personally follow...

Mostly, yes. I have seen many solo founder companies succeed, too. But most of the time the founder is on the sales side.
