A practical realisation: for an app to make computations on sensitive user data, there is no one size fit all solution rather the need to use an ensemble of Privacy Enhancing Technologies: -Compute on user side (for simple computations) - TEE when ok with slightly higher cost - MPC when ok with some latency -FHE is still kinda impractical atm 😅

real take: there's never a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to security and dealing with data. The trick is abstracting away the technical, while presenting the end user with a clear and concise onboarding and management experience.
