I finished up the front rack I’ve been working on. Got the corners smoothed, coated in rusto enamel, and bolted up for action. 

Really pleased with how this came together. Especially the bends which turned out surprisingly even; all done just with a vice and big thick jar as a template. Found it enjoyable to spend more time with hand tools learning the basics. Crazy how much there is to learn about simple seeming things like drilling good round, holes exactly where you want ‘em. 

My digital caliper was by far most used tool throughout. Great for quick measurements and marking center.

Chipping away at my goal of someday building a custom bike frame.
