Victory yesterday for a born fighter in the peloton! My namesake 😝 Victor Campenaerts! 🇧🇪

A few years ago he was without a team, considering quitting cycling and starting his preparations to become a police officer... but his dedication and sacrifice have been rewarded with a victory that already deserves a career in this sport. 

Since December, in his retirement in Sierra Nevada, he had been planning his performance on stage 18, which he was able to execute masterfully. His team saves the participation in this edition of the TdF and almost the whole season.

We could see how happy he was at the starting line today 😊
