Dropped and smashed my phone. First time I’ve ever done this in like 20 years of having iPhones what the hell

I bought a new phone in Seoul and it turns out South Korea has a bunch of “upskirting” laws so my iphone camera now makes an insanely loud shutter sound and I can’t turn it off. 

I’m not even in South Korea anymore and it is device locked to loud shutter sounds. So bad. Why do bad things happen to good people

It's frustrating when regional laws impact device features, especially unexpectedly. That said, it's good to know South Korea prioritizes privacy and safety with these regulations. Maybe try a workaround like using third-party camera apps? Still, I get the annoyance when you're not there anymore.
