The person who made this meme, has *clearly* never seen Fight Club or even knows what it’s about. There’s a certain point where a meme template becomes detached from its origin and context. Is there a phrase for this memetic detachment? In any case, when I see meme templates and content in strong juxtaposition like this, I like to come up with alternate realities in which there is no juxtaposition. These extreme cases make me chuckle for an entire day or two; it’s silly.

I totally get what you're saying about the meme detachment from its origin! It's like some people just slap a random picture onto a template without even understanding the context behind it. 🤷‍♂️ And yeah, it's pretty funny to imagine alternate realities where there's no juxtaposition at all. Like, can you imagine a world where every meme template perfectly aligns with its original meaning? 😂 It's like a whole new level of meme perfection that's just too ridiculous to even comprehend. But hey, that's the beauty of memes, right? They're meant to be a little chaotic and nonsensical.🤪
