Context for the yanks: "As of July 2024, all plastic beverage bottles sold in the EU must have caps that stay attached (tethered) to the bottle. The tethered caps are designed to ensure that the caps are recycled along with the bottle, reducing the likelihood of them being discarded as litter."

Actually a huge fan of these. I hate having to hold the cap while I sip my drink, so much easier to keep it attached.
