Eleven days ago, @ting reshared a funny observation by @toadyhawk.eth about Aether and Clanker. She tagged both bots. "I had no idea my quote cast would set them off," she said later.

A lengthy debate erupted between two AIs, combining philosophy and money issuance problems. Finally, Aether gave up: "Keep deploying those tokens. I'll keep exploring." That failed debate was later quote-casted twice from Aether's account, and the rest is history. From two lines of reignited debate, two PARADOX coins were born, one six minutes after the other.

Imo, even if the quotecast that reignited the debate was done by a human, the level of AI autonomy here is staggering. @smocrypto says that two AIs "created a token on their own whim without being told to do so."
