if it meant to be a IQ test the maths test plus IQ questions should be enough ? 

and most masters degrees are kind of a trade school anyway

i guess it was assumed you will need to draft research papers in STEM? i gave the ielts/toefl 4x in life. ama

I jumped hoops in that circus ~15 years ago. Thankfully don’t have to now 😅
