Web2 is as an empire that will eventually fall, due to the law of nature saying, 0 empires last forever. Web3's design has objectively better governance first principles than web2 for longevity. Web3 is built to last, but will eventually die too, is that in our lifetimes? I don't know.

I agree with you, but I'd say this perversion is natural to us because we are attracted to people who project success in the future. It's orthogonal when you look at it logically in the 21st century, but to me it makes sense why society views ambition as a moral feature.
