Crypto definitionally rejects such an accommodation, and attempts to exist at a level beyond the (now) tired machinery of the liberal state.

Crypto types float radical new politics for that reason, while AI nerfs itself via an 'alignment' discourse that amounts to a surrender.

Much is made about the potential of AI, and no doubt it'll be deeply impactful, but AI can exist alongside the tottering machinery of (late) liberalism. Everyone is fine with building on a sub handful of big model builders, and most AI instantly surrenders to regulation.

If this is accurate we will need to have a “code is law” war to instantiate this paradigm no?
