Somewhere in there Balaji tweeted that the Network State is like Zionism without the Judaism. 

However, that's kind of the problem: you can't pull off the Zionism without it. And what's missing from all this new techno-state-ery is some sort of unifying peoplehood and values.

New states is a good idea. Not sure one state that is mostly formed by techies

who's writing that? it's drowning in rare words that are too complicated and aren't reflecting reality well
