Here's to hoping that if a client is on Farcaster they wouldn't do this (reputation and all)

That's just the thing: he does charge the full amount in advance. What happened here was a chargeback - ie. his client called the credit card company and invented some excuse - and they took back the entire amount. He disputed it and was still not given the money back

This is all assuming the story is true, but chargebacks are real unfortunately. You can only do it on credit cards (not debit) and they usually side with you, which can be useful, but it is abused

Oh lol sorry for the mansplaining there then. Honestly I've only read about it, never actually tried it myself. But the story goes they side with customers by default.

why I meant is that I accept no credit cards, cash only. 

Also, is it that easy to do a chsrgwback in foreign land? I couldn't charge back a company that frauded over 30k ppl last year and I'm suing them
