why does Warpcast use .webp images, but does not allow .webp images to be uploaded? or am I wrong?

The lib used probably does not convert webp to webp

I think it is because .webp is known for small size images or can’t support bigger images so the compatibility is being queried.

What do you think?

Why does Warpcast use .webp images but not allow .webp uploads? Am I mistaken?

I noticed that, it might probably be as a result of compatibility or maybe the processing workflow that automatically converts the images
