We're days away from our 2nd baby :) 

if all goes well it's going to be a home birth; we have a great doula who's suggested we print our birth plan, so (obviously) I designed one - much easier to skim than a wall of text

It's just a Figma file for now (link below); can anyone help turn this into a gdoc template?

It was a home birth (ask away); it was getting late, so our doula suggested she take a bath. It did the trick — called doula & midwives, started setting up the pool but didn't even get to use it because baby was out 30' after the midwives got here

Congrats for the +1! It’s very brave to do a home birth, nowadays, even if there are a lot of countries where it’s so normal.

Thank you! It was interesting to google different rates and attitudes.

The Netherlands has the highest rate of home births in the EU at around 15% but it's an outlier - others are at or below 1%

Outside the EU, Nepal and Benin are at over 60% home births and I would assume many others where statistics are not kept

I can recall the Netherlands statistic now that you’re mentioning it.
