I've come across this several times (levelsio does this too, as do others) I currently use /obsidian Periodic Notes, but the siloed structure of daily notes creates friction. Weekly, monthly, and yearly notes are better (though I don’t really use monthly notes: adding [[YYYY-MM]] headers in the Yearly note provides better context without unnecessary fragmentation) Maybe I'll move to - single note - Weekly + Yearlt periodic notes GPT tells me this way I won't know when or why something was written, but does that really matter?

when i was starting with periodic, weekly felt like a good level of fidelity. now i like ability to segment by need/frequency - daily: reflect, check-in and curate - weekly: track progress on your objective - monthly: keep up with personal and the less frequent haven't had much luck at annual scale yet
