A simple example of how Perplexity is much better at giving answers directly. 

It saves me from wading through a bunch of ad-ridden news sites. Even the results below the top story section didn't have the answer.

i use it every day for simple queries like this and more complex stuff like condensing down long content into powerpoints (I have clients who still work on these rails...)

My perplexity bestie so far: recipe for meals based on 3-5 leftover groceries I have in the fridge and often asking for making "fusion dishes".
