I agree on need for high-timeframes. Yet I have been in those tribes who openly disdain and discredit e.g. DeFi yet ReFi would have never had any funding if it hadn't been from massive profits from the former. A lotta solarpunk folks are intellectually dishonest imho.

ETH does focus on the tech, they HAVE to make changes to get the tech to where they want to be. These are not decisions made in haste. Alot of protocols stay throughout it all and gain tons of value, Aave, etc... Im sure a couple dapps have gotten caught offside. Thats life.

agreed. I have been in ReFi tribes that despise DeFi. unless we build those bridges ngmi bc neither camp has all the answers.

Interesting take. I’ve definitely seen some communities see negative impacts from EF decisions, but they have amazingly built their own L1’s using the open code developed by EF.

The key magic trick is going to be merging all of these disparate, ecosystems back into 1 ecosystem.
