I’ve noticed for awhile how healthcare related stocks tend to go up as the general market bleeds Does it mean anything? Probably not. But it is funny to see people invest in things that could benefit their health, only after everything else fails… funny in some kind of way lmao

Yes, lookup beta (sensitivity to volatility) as it pertains to stocks As volatility goes up ($VIX) people get scared and start to unwind their risk assets starting with the riskiest ($fartcoin etc) and ending with the least risky (defensive stocks maybe healthcare, utilities, gold)

Yeah it makes sense in the aspect of security. But i think I’m fascinated by how we don’t see it has something that would benefit everybody on a level to which we didn’t even know we could achieve. Imagine someone tokenized an attempt to find the cure for cancer (idk lmao) and the fees generated from that were used to fund the research and studies behind it. Would be cool, as long as “devs” didn’t put profit over product
