Account Verifications (Beta 2) 

Verify your phone number and social accounts easily from Settings > Verifications. We now support Github, Discord and LinkedIn. 

Accounts with more verifications will be more likely to get airdrops, rewards and boosts in the feed.

So how many journalists and sportsmen verified their discord and github accounts? :)

Well, both! I see both platforms skewing towards developers/ more tech-oriented crowd, who I believe are still Farcaster’s main target audience? Yet I’ve seen efforts from the team to onboard people from fields other than tech and crypto.

Since it’s not just about voluntarily adding links to your profile for extra context, but a verification process that actually affects the algorithm, I personally felt there was a bit of a mismatch. 

I know it’s a biased take, so am genuinely curious to hear what the reality is :)
