word problem: (solve for 500 $degen)

The bros want to hang out after school. there are 5 of them.
one of the bros texts into the group chat.
'Are you down to hang out later.'
one responds
'Yea, im 99% down.'
Two bros die suddenly.

What happened?

One bro was texting whilst driving and the other was a passenger. Whilst distracted they didn't see the elephant crossing the road and sadly crashed into it. They survived the crash but were beaten to death by a group of marauding chimpanzees who so happened to be best friends with the elephant.
