Continuing the series on genart pioneers. Born 1922 in Sevilla, Spain, Manuel Barbadillo applied since the early 1960s computers to further develop his concepts in constructivism and arabic ornaments, resulting in his monochromatic and square modules.

Love it, such a classic 60/70s vibe! I bet his work has been used for wallpapers and textile patterns. I definitely saw his work a long time ago but somehow his name didn't stick. Not surprised to learn it's based on rotated modules.
