spent this week in Sardinia, i hadn't heard of this!

Ooh would love to compare Sardinia notes - I’ve been in the north (Santa Teresa Gallura near Olbia)

oh nice!! well it kinda reminded me a little of a mix of barcelona and bucharest, alot of graffiti and abit rough around the edges but charming and people were super friendly

the beach we visited, poetto was really nice! 

there was a real buzz and busyness in the evenings which was fun and great food!

we visited the archeology museum, national gallery and the botanical gardens which was good for learning the history of Sardinia but didn’t mention the mask festival!

Oooh interesting. Where I was, was quite different. Much smaller town - but the highlight was the beach which was spectacular with crystal clear water. Would really recommend (would have also been much nicer if it was like 5 degrees warmer)! Found out about the mask tradition from one of the locals- carnival happens weekly in her village!
