According to Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump plans to announce on Monday a new 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imports, further escalating his trade policy overhaul on top of existing metal tariffs. He also stated that reciprocal tariffs will be announced on Tuesday or Wednesday, taking effect almost immediately. This may have contributed to a 2% drop in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours.
