According to Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett, Tether is working with U.S. lawmakers to influence the regulation of fiat-backed stablecoins. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the company is actively engaging with lawmakers to advance the relevant bills and is committed to complying with the final law. The bill is expected to be signed into law by President Trump as early as April
