Could this incident be fabricated? How likely is it for a group to want to do something and go wrong in this way? How likely is it for one person to manage shoot Trump alone? I don't know, but it's possible that it was coordinated.

There isn't enough information available, but this certainly couldn't have been a planned operation. If it were like the Kennedy assassination, Trump's death certificate would have been issued by now. I can't rule out the possibility of a deranged individual carrying out such an act, but the long-distance shot is suspicious to me. Someone with that level of motivation would have had to get as close as possible. However, even in the Kennedy assassination, the person declared the assassin was found innocent.
