I find immense value in connecting with younger generations, actively listening to their views and opinions that often diverge from those of my own generation. I continually expand my understanding and grow as an artist by remaining open to learning and receptive to different perspectives. That’s great! My biggest challenge with that is remembering to use they/them. My niece and my other nieces girlfriend use those pronouns and I forget all the time.
