I'm constantly thinking about how to improve this platform for artists, collectors and art enjoyers alike. I kind of left Twitter/X for various reasons, since Musk took over and turned it into a propaganda machine. But whenever I return there for a quick update, my art feed is really top notch. Almost everybody who is active here, also posts or cross-shares frequently on X as well. But more important, a lot of artist I want to follow and I want to be informed about only post there (and maybe on Bluesky, Mastodon, IG as well, don't know). Point is, they all have a Farcaster account, but turned their backs on the platform at some point or never really got into it. I would therefore be delighted if they were to return and exploit Farcaster's potential. 24 replies

Iāve always loved evolving on Twitter since 2021, watching the great artists. But the problem is that these artists and collectors form a small, closed-off group. No response, neither to comments nor DMs, ever. Nothing. I found it ridiculous to watch them communicate among themselves while seeing the astronomical sums of their sales.
Yes, they are great artists, no doubt. So, we try competitions, hundreds of us hoping to get noticed, trying to become great too. But weāre never selected, understandably, considering how many of us are trying to show up, like children in class raising their hands saying, āMe, me, me!ā and thenā¦ nothing. No notifications, no sales, no comments. So, we create a small network of artist friends, but since weāre all broke and canāt sell anything, we burn out. We navigate through scams, ads, rugs, and manipulations. So, we try to inject some fun, giving away works to our friends. 1 reply

Then, we discover another world. Personally, itās been a year, like for many others, and now we meet new artists, make friends, get likes and comments, with no ads or scams. We find ourselves in a much more inclusive environment where we can engage with OGs, devs, founders, passionate &interesting people. They care about our projects just as much as we care about theirs. Itās a continuous exchange of knowledge. Yes, itās easy to stay within the artist circle, but I think we shouldnāt. We need to care about everything around us, and thatās how we grow, evolve, make sales, friends, and incredible connections with incredible people.
I tried to go back to X, but itās always the same artists, the same collectors, and the same manipulations. I donāt want to go through that again. Also, I saw the CT folks come in March, talk to us to integrate, then leave two months later, ignoring us again and again on Twitter. Iām happy here. Iām learning so much, my mind is expanding, and itās truly stimulating 0 reply
