Last night, one of the patients in the psychiatric intensive care unit where I work told us how, at 16 years old, he first knocked out the man in his girlfriend’s bed with a log. Then he tied him up to keep him from moving and started cutting off his toes with a hacksaw. He explained that the guy was screaming at first but then stopped when he began sawing off his feet, because he was dead.

It’s a very interesting topic. He committed that act many years ago and has just completed his 17-year prison sentence (with some sentance reductions). Now he is on antipsychotic treatment because, yes he had hallucinations, but the primary concern is his psychopathic personality traits. we have no obligation treatment for him. The story is true, we were able to verify it 😰
